Who is Jim Hennessy?
Jim is known by everyone in Woodside. He has numerous roles on the senior committee from president to groundsman. But it is his commitment to junior cricket at Woodside, that makes Jim an obvious choice to have the junior club person of the year named after him. Jim coached all the junior teams while his lads came through the ranks. This included winning an under 14 premiership in 2001/02 and an under 16 premiership in 2004/05. He then took on looking after the Have-a-goes and did that for more years than anyone can remember. The club could not have had a better person to be the first club contact for many young boys & girls and also their parents. He has won the junior club person of the year award (his own award now) 4 times.
